Find Your Anchor

It's easy to forget sometimes that life itself is the

most unique and individualized process we will ever encounter.

This idea gets short changed because life is comprised of separate individual moments that seem of greater value than the entire process itself. At the end of it all though, yes, these moments are meaningful and worthy, but how we actually LIVED, the ideas that fed our minds, the people who lifted our souls, and the values and priorities we chose to endorse, those are the things that define life in totality.

It's easy to compare ideas, relationships, and goals with other people - we do it subconsciously because we are all human, living on earth, trying to get by, succeed, and be the best we can be. This thought process though forgets to take into account that although we may have similar trajectories, every single persons' story, and therefore, every single persons' path, is 100% different.

Life is the most unique and individualized concept, why waste time and energy trying to fill it up with someone else's priorities and dreams?

Take the time to get to know yourself:

What you want and what you need, the values you endorse, those that will come to define your soul.

Find your anchor in yourself and hold fast to your individually.

You will no longer sway in the face of pressure or adversity because you are confident in your abilities, in your self, and you understand that this life is YOURS - you have the power to create your own path and by not taking this opportunity for authenticity you are simply short changing yourself. Be patient with yourself and respect your individual process, urge yourself to stop fearing autonomy and hesitating when faced with responsibility and accountability - these aspects are gifts of authenticity and should be cherished .

"Hold your own, know your name, and go your own way."
